At Carol and the Baby, we are dedicated to providing comfort and care to individuals with Alzheimer's disease who have limited resources or lack family support. Our mission is to respect each person's beliefs, abilities, and feelings, offering love and compassion as a valued human being. We strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing the challenges of this disease.
Hi!, my name is Eddie and I'm the founder of this non-profit organization called "Carol and The Baby"
My passion is to help others and my career/job, has led me towards the Elderly population.
Through my 17+ years of experience on this field, I have never stopped learning from this special, yet vulnerable individuals who suffer from Alzheimer disease.
I have discovered that not only this individuals have un measurable love to give, but a strong will to continue to laugh and enjoy life through their now limited sense of perception due to their illness.
I have make it my commitment to bring a small amount of joy to this amazing people. In many ways, this act of kindness comes in the form of a look alike real baby.
I always knew in my heart that I was born different and with the fire in my heart to help others.
This Non-Profit organization started from a lovely friendship that developed from a beautiful lady called Carol; therefore the name of "Carol and The Baby".
This journey started with the simple idea form Carol's daughter of giving her Mom a look alike baby doll to entertain her; but what we discovered is far beyond from entertainment, it provided comfort, joy and sense of feeling needed and to belong back in time and space.
I know the road would be long and difficult, but I would like to share my dream with you in the hopes of bringing light in the life of people with Alzheimer disease.
